Developers in Warrensburg, MO needed to revamp a three-company strip mall on Brentwood Plaza, and they sought out our team at Nichiha. Mixing three different textures took this strip housing Starbucks, Verizon and Firehouse Subs to the next level.

Utilizing our Wood Series, Concrete Series and Dimension Series gives the retail spots depth, dimension and warmth. VintageWood comes in multiple colors and sizes.

This location utilized Redwood and Bark colors with a mix of vertical and horizontal applications for the look of wood without the hassles and headaches. In addition, a built-in rainscreen stops moisture in its tracks, limiting the need for maintenance and increasing mold and pest resistance.

Project owners also chose the Novenary panels in the Dimension series in the colors Opal and Slate. Paired with Gray IndustrialBlock panels from the Concrete Series, this retail project is chic, modern and just a touch rustic.

South Lorraine Place

Project developers in Sioux Falls, SD knew they needed some contrast in their exterior design to catch the eyes of people passing by. The IndustrialBlock panels from our Concrete Series are lightweight and versatile. It offers the chic aesthetic of concrete without the messy installation. Compared to normal concrete, it’s much easier to install due to its weight.

The VintageWood Wood Series with Redwood coloring and TuffBlock panels with Steel coloring offer a deep contrast and rustic aesthetic without giving “cabin in the woods” vibes. Sharp roof lines, warm wood tones and dark shades create a welcoming yet modern look.

A retail strip mall housing Dunkin Donuts, Cricket, Great Clips, Menchie’s and Jersey Mikes. The exterior walls are utilizing Nichiha’s fiber cement cladding. Blue skies are behind it.

In areas prone to wildfires, like Arizona, utilizing fiber cement instead of wood is smart and sustainable. Fiber cement siding is non-combustible, giving commercial developers an added safety advantage over real or engineered wood.
