Can I have a 1/2" overlap on Nichiboards?
No all boards must overlap a minimum of 1 1/4".

What gap must I leave between my driveway and your nichiboard?
A minimum distance of 1" to 2” must exist between the bottom edge of panels and decking, steps, drives, and walks. Also 1" to 2" gap must be left above roof shingles as well.

What sizes are offered in  Individual nichishake products?
All products are 18"Hieght with three different widths, 6-1/4", 8-1/4", 12"wide the maximum exposure is and 8".

Yes just simple carpentry skills are required.

Do I need special tools?
No, Basic tools are required, but you do need a dust reducing fiber cement saw blade and a respirator pneumatic nail gun is highly recommended.

Yes, approved weather resistance barrier that complies with the local building codes is required.

Can the product be installed over interior studs?
Yes, the products can be installed directly to the interior studs.

Yes, providing a minimum 6" ground clearance.
